Hi Professor & Classmates, Exodus 32 tells how the Israelites' spiritual perspective was blurred by their wicked desires. They created an idol and held a sensuous worship session in order to emulate their heathen neighbours. This enraged both Moses and the Lord, resulting in harsh punishment. Our spiritual eyesight will get hazy if we do not take God's Word seriously, and we will disobey Him. The tale of this chapter is a very regrettable interruption to the account of the founding of the church and of religion among the Jews.
